You know you want to meander on down and sit by the fountain in the Gallery courtyard. Best place to have lunch, ever.

Then, come on in and check out this summer’s exhibitions. On the second floor, there is a mixture of great art and artifacts on view as part of “Social Skin,” the third biennial exhibition curated by grad students from the Museum Studies program (That’s in the Department of Art History, just FYI. Yay, Art History!) This year the show is great– everything from a Hank Willis Thomas lambda print to ancient Egyptian Shabti figures.

Photographs by Lalla Essaydi: L’Ecriture Feminine/Le Corps Feminin is on view on the first floor. The show consists of Essaydi’s stunning large-scale photographs. Amazing!
